A Voice of One Calling
An Advent setting of Isaiah’s prophecy in Chapter 40 (‘In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord; ...’). This work moves from the desolation of the ‘wilderness’ to the joyful expectation of Christ’s coming.
A Voice of One Calling won third place at the ESAF Young Composers’ Competition in August 2024, adjudicated by Dame Judith Weir.
